Super Cher is a band that only exists because our three members decided to leave our roots in northern California and move to Paris for romantic love and universal healthcare. An English teacher, a music teacher, and a librarian met by chance at work six thousand miles from our homes and we started jamming, blending the alternative, folk, and indie rock we were raised on with lyrics inspired by our experiences from both back in America and now abroad. We call that fusion Expat Diner Rock, a genre for people who want to discover new songs in an old jukebox. 

We released our first two songs "Sad Sad Boi" and "Hollywood Cops" earlier this year, declaring our support for ourselves and our peers who are having a hard time adapting to the ever-present challenges of self-acceptance and predatory Capitalism. Now, our newest song "I'm Gonna Be Okay" continues those themes, telling the story of leaving home out of defiance but finding hope and joy in that decision.
